My experiences with mental healing and my pursuit of wellness feeds my body, my mind, and my soul. Acceptance and encouragement make me happy. Being judged and criticized does harm.
My art speaks of the mystery of life. Change happens in multiple and simultaneous ways to all of us, often occurring unexpectedly and beyond our control. Through my art, I want to express the wonder and purposefulness of the universe.
We can all feel connected to one another despite our problems, disabilities, psychological and emotional dispositions, or spiritual beliefs. The similarities we share are stronger than those forces that divide us. Spending time in nature makes us aware of the oneness of our humanity. Perhaps the joy I feel in creating my artwork can bring this sense of peace and liberating commonality to the world.
